Several malfunctions may occur in the operation of the device:

  1. The sensitive element of the sensor - film or thread - is damaged. Typically, this problem occurs due to wear and tear. It is theoretically possible to repair such a regulator, but in reality it can take a lot of time and effort. Therefore, many car enthusiasts simply change the mass air flow sensor.

Checking the regulator for functionality

Diagnostics of the oxygen sensor is carried out as follows:

  7. Look at the multimeter screen - if the value is close to 0.9 W, this indicates that the lambda probe is in good condition and does not require replacement. If the readings do not rise above 0.8 W, this indicates the need to replace the regulator. Then all you have to do is dismantle it and replace it with a new one.
