How to install

The alarm installation process includes the following steps:

  1. Installation of the head unit. This part of the system is located in the cabin. It is necessary to choose places that are inaccessible to criminals. The housing is secured using double-sided adhesive tape or self-tapping screws.
  2. Siren installation. The bracket is fixed in a free space in the engine compartment. The part must not come into contact with the cylinders or the intake valve. The siren is fixed on the bracket with the horn down. The wires are connected by soldering, bringing the connections into the interior.
  3. Placement of the sensitivity sensor. The part is fixed to the partition separating the engine compartment from the passenger compartment. Do not place sensors on plastic or rubber surfaces. Controls must be accessible to the user.
  4. Installing the antenna module. The transceiver is installed on the windshield. Before fixing the device, the surface is cleaned of dirt and degreased. The cables are pulled to the head unit under the interior trim.
  5. Emergency button placement. The element requires hidden installation; it can be hidden in standard wiring harnesses. It is recommended to place a toggle switch near the service key to enable the “Anti-robbery” option.

Registration of Jaguar Tez B key fob

The firmware of the Jaguar Tez B transmitter is done as follows.

  1. Disable vehicle protection mode and turn on the ignition.
  2. Press and hold the service mode key until the siren sounds four times.
  3. On the remote control, simultaneously hold down buttons A and B. If you are binding a communicator without a screen, use keys C and D. The siren will sound once.
  4. Record the remaining alarm remote control switches in the system memory. The time interval between the binding of transmitters should not exceed five seconds.
  5. Turn off the ignition. The turn signals will blink five times.
