To connect them, no additional complex reprogramming is required - just write them into memory. It is also possible to register the remote control for the A9 simultaneously with the native remote controls of these alarm clocks.

The basic instructions attached to the Starline A9 report contain all the information on its connection and operation. The instructions also tell you how to set it up. Setting up autorun

To configure autostart on the Starline B9 car alarm, you will have to enter a special programming mode. To do this, you will need the Valet service button. This key is mounted in a place hidden from view, but at the same time convenient and easily accessible for the car owner. The installers definitely know the location of the button, but if it is unknown, it is worth checking:

• space under the front panel near the fuse box. You will need to remove the decorative covers;
• internal pockets of compartments for small items in door cards;
• space in the center tunnel between the front seats;
• place under the steering column or near the pedal assembly.

You will also need to have a main or spare key fob linked to this alarm. After this, you can make settings.

The new “alarm” for the Starline C9 Dialog car has the following delivery kit:

1. A user manual that allows you to correctly install and connect the security system. The service manual includes electrical diagrams, as well as recommendations regarding installation, use and configuration of the installed alarm system.
2. Main key fob equipped with a liquid crystal display.
3. Spare communicator.
4. Batteries for use in the main pager.
5. Control unit for car anti-theft system. The device comes in a rectangular black plastic case.
6. Transceiver with built-in antenna module. Equipped with a cable and connection block.
7. Two-level shock sensor. Also equipped with a wire and connector for connection.
8. Sticker for attaching a transceiver with a built-in antenna.
9. Case for the main key fob.
10. Limit switch to be used for installation on the hood or trunk. It is recommended to give preference to the first option, since by gaining access to the engine compartment, an attacker will be able to hack the alarm.
11. Button to enter the emergency mode of Valet service.
12. A set of wires and connectors for connecting all components of the security system.
13. LED for determining the status of the car alarm.

The Starline C9 delivery set does not include a siren and door switches, so these components must be purchased separately.

How to install?

The alarm is installed as follows:

1. Turn off the voltage in the on-board network; to do this, disconnect the terminals from the battery. If your car is equipped with a code-controlled radio or airbags, read the instructions before performing work. Disabling the battery may lead to further problems with the operation of the radio.
2. Install the microprocessor module. It can be placed under the center console, behind the glove compartment, in the free space behind the dashboard or behind the control panel. The place must be chosen so that it is hidden. To install the microprocessor unit behind the instrument panel, dismantle the shield by disconnecting its connectors and removing the plastic lining. Fix the block on the surface using self-tapping screws or double-sided tape to ensure high-quality fixation of the device. The module must be installed so that if water gets in, moisture does not flow down the wires and get inside the housing.
3. Install a siren under the hood. Its installation is carried out away from sources of heat and moisture, so placing the siren next to the cylinder block is not allowed. The device is placed with the horn facing down to eliminate the possibility of moisture accumulation inside. The siren must be installed in such a way that there is no access to it and the wires through which it is connected from under the bottom of the car.
4. An antenna adapter is installed on the inside of the windshield. When installing it, you must make sure that there are no electronic devices or metal products near the device. Otherwise, the transceiver will not work properly.
5. Install the shock regulator. The controller is installed in the central part of the body; it can be placed on the internal partition separating the interior and engine compartment. The regulator is fixed with self-tapping screws or double-sided tape. It must be securely fastened so that it is not affected by vibrations.
6. Install limit switches. The devices are installed on the hood, doors and trunk. Installation is only possible after removing the plastic upholstery. If the doors do not have holes for installation, they will have to be made using a drill.
7. Installation of the diode indicator is carried out inside the cabin. The light is used to indicate operating modes, so it must be installed so that it is visible from the street. We recommend installing an indicator on the dashboard.
8. Install a Valet service button under the dashboard or in another location. It is recommended to install it in a hidden place, since using this element you can turn off the alarm. You can install a button under the tidy and disguise it with electrical tape.
9. All installed components must be connected to each other in accordance with the diagram above. Wires are laid in dry places under the interior trim. There should be no electronic devices near power lines; their presence will lead to interference and incorrect operation of the anti-theft system. Also, there should be no moving body parts in the area where the cables are laid.

The alarm performs its functions either automatically or by signals from the key fob when buttons are pressed. Some of the provided functions and some alarm operating parameters can be changed by programming. The alarm system is equipped with a 3-button control key fob with feedback and a liquid crystal indicator (LCD) and a 3-button control key fob without feedback with LED indication (LED). The purpose of control buttons 1, 2 and 3 of both key fobs is the same. The dynamic control code of the key fobs is protected from selection and interception. When the alarm executes commands sent from any key fob, changes the parameters and operating modes of the alarm or triggers the alarm in security mode, the corresponding information is transmitted to the key fob receiver with feedback and displayed on its indicator with the simultaneous activation of sound and vibration alert signals, and the LED backlight of the indicator is simultaneously turned on. The key fob with feedback uses an original cursor method for selecting some control commands, in which different commands have their own icon, displayed on the key fob indicator. In addition, information about the current time, alarm clock, engine temperature and inside the car is displayed on the key fob indicator with feedback.

When using a Starline alarm system with auto start, instructions are necessary for correct operation of the system. Car alarms protect your car from theft and also allow you to monitor several zones simultaneously. Standard and additional limit switches guarantee the safety of opened body elements. The motor is protected from starting thanks to a modern electronic lock. The handbrake lever is also protected from being turned off.

The system has several levels of protection.

1. The code signal used in the control circuit is dynamic. The code changes constantly, so it is impossible to guess; there is reliable protection against interception.
2. You can turn off the siren and leave security on.
3. If the power supply is turned off, the system itself will remember the state.
