What is an immobilizer and how to use it on Lada Granta

The immobilizer of the Lada Grant and any other car is a special anti-theft device that does not allow the engine to start. Motorists use it very rarely, even if the Lada Granta immobilizer is included, while others simply do not know about the existence of such a device. But safety cannot be neglected, and that is why all owners of Lada Granta, without exception, should be sure to familiarize themselves with the design and operating principle of this module.

The moment the driver inserts the ignition key, the Lada Granta immobilizer is identified using a code. If there is a match, there are no obstacles to starting the engine and you can start moving. Otherwise, the car will be locked until the correct code is received. There is one important disadvantage of using this device - if the Lada Granta immobilizer breaks down, then it will be possible to start the car only after repairing or replacing the module. In such a situation, the old code is deleted from the controller and new code is written. So, if the immobilizer is blinking, you should think about it and pay attention to it.

At the car dealership, the Lada Granta immobilizer is activated during the pre-sale preparation procedure under the supervision of the future owner. If the buyer refuses to use this function, then this is entered into the service documents, where it is certified by the seal of the car dealership and the signature of the buyer.

Immobilizer Lada Granta (how to disable or activate)

An immobilizer is an electronic anti-theft system that blocks part of the vehicle control modules when intruders enter the car. Such protection is a mandatory attribute of most modern middle and upper class cars. Despite belonging to the economy class, the Lada Granta immobilizer is also included in the standard factory equipment.

Principle of operation

The main advantage of an immobilizer over an alarm system is its ability to break the chains necessary to start the car and prevent it from moving, while an alarm system can only report theft. Even if a thief turns off the alarm and gets inside the vehicle, he will not be able to start the engine and drive away.

There are models of anti-theft systems that allow you to start the engine and even drive several hundred meters, and only then block the vehicle’s movement.

Practice shows that such systems help not only protect the car, but also catch the criminal.

It is impossible to find out how the immobilizer works by the appearance of the car or keys, so it is almost impossible to bypass the system.

All modifications of Lada Granta are equipped with an immobilizer of the first type, which blocks the ignition when opened with someone else’s key or in the event of a break-in. Anti-theft protection is built into the control module of the electric motor and its components. It includes:

  • 2 keys (the first is active, the second is training);
  • control module;
  • signaling device;
  • communication coil in the ignition switch.

The system control unit houses a sensor, and a chip with a code is located on the key. The system reads the code and thereby allows or prohibits turning on the engine. The control light indicator is located on the instrument panel and signals the protection position. The model is also equipped with a door lock, which is controlled from the key fob: activated by a single click and deactivated by a double click.

Anti-theft protection operates in 2 modes:

  • The immobilizer option is deactivated. In this case, there is no connection between the protective system and the electronic control unit, and the engine is not blocked when started by a third party.
  • The function is active. In this mode, starting the engine is possible only with a valid key. If you try to start the engine in another way, the ECU is blocked.

Granta Lada car immobilizer

Even though the Granta Lada occupies the automotive sector of the economy, it is still worth a lot of money and no one will lose it if it is stolen. Moreover, at the very least, an inexperienced vehicle poses an unnecessary hazard that can expose drivers, passengers and pedestrians to serious inconvenience. To prevent possible troubles, various anti-theft devices are installed on cars.

The main elements are an alarm system and an immobilizer. Each of these devices has both advantages and disadvantages. The alarm system provides the motorist with some additional comfort-enhancing features, such as opening only the side door or only the driver's trunk, auto start, which allows the car to start warming up without leaving home. But the alarm only notifies the car owner about break-in; the immobilizer specifically prevents theft.

The electronic anti-theft device is an electrical controller that blocks the car's engine from starting if the ignition was started with an external key. The ignition switch key has a built-in chip that sends an owner identification code to the electrical control unit every time you try to start the engine.

Activation of the electronic anti-theft device

Electronic anti-theft device Granta Lada Installed on all models, starting with standard equipment. Granta was one of the first Russian-made cars equipped with an immobilizer. And the first problem that the owner of the latest grants faces after studying the requirements of the “immobilizer” is the activation of the anti-theft accessory. As a rule, the controller is activated by the car dealership in the presence of the owner.

If the client refuses to activate the immobilizer, a note is entered in the service book. When the owner changes his mind and after some time decides to activate the device, he must do it himself. The main thing is to follow the activation method correctly to avoid possible problems. Granta Lada It is presented to the owner with a set of keys, in the middle of which there are two for the ignition switch, one of them is marked black and the other is reddish.

The dark key is used for daily use, in particular, it must be stored in the immobilizer memory for smooth engine starting. Red key , the so-called learning, designed to enter the source code into the controller's memory. Once activated, it should be kept in a safe place and removed only when necessary. If the key is red, all warranty obligations of the seller are lost.

Standard immobilizer Lada Granta Liftback (Chronicle LADA GRANTA)

Judging by the reaction of the salon staff and the fact that they repeatedly apologized to us, a memory was created.

Activation occurs when the car door is closed; there should be no keys in the ignition. You need to stick the red key and turn on the ignition. Wait 6 seconds. If everything is done correctly, the red immobilizer light should flash on the dashboard. The owner then has 6 seconds to remove the red key, stick a dark light on it and turn on the ignition. “Immobilizer” should sound first three, then two more.

If this doesn't work, you must start over. When everything is ok, the dark key changes color for 6 seconds. The beeps must be repeated: three, then two. It (reddish) turns off the ignition, followed by one beep. Turn the ignition off and on again for 6-2 seconds. Turn off the ignition and the red key remains in the lock. After you hear three beeps and one beep, 10 seconds will be counted and the red key will be removed.

Where is it located and how to activate it

Lada Granta cars are delivered to showrooms with the immobilizer function deactivated. Salon specialists perform activation at the time of sale, in the presence of the client. Sometimes salon employees forget to do this, or the buyer himself refuses to connect the protection. The vehicle owner needs to know where the immobilizer is located and how to make it active.

The brain of the anti-theft system is located directly in the ignition unit, which allows you to read the owner’s special code from the key. To activate the immobilizer, you need to perform the following sequence of actions:

  • close the hood, trunk and all doors in the car;
  • insert the training key (with a red mark) into the ignition and turn it until the ignition is activated;
  • wait 6 seconds until the light on the instrument panel starts flashing;
  • within 6 seconds, remove the training key and insert the working key, start the engine with it.

If everything is done correctly and on time, then this will be followed by 3 signals, and then 2 more. If there is no sound, the operation should be repeated again.

Disadvantages of an immobilizer

The main disadvantage of this anti-theft device is considered to be blocking of the main components of the vehicle, or partial inability to control it (turning off turns, headlights, etc.). If you try to activate the controller several times in a row, the Lada Granta does not perceive it and stops working completely. The driver is completely confused and does not know what to do next.

In this case, you just need to disable the immobilizer. There is nothing difficult about this, although there may be problems with the controller. If there is a red key, then there will be no problems with disabling the “immobilizer”, since it contains a certain code. There are programs associated with disabling them, but it is not recommended to carry out such repairs on your own, and it is better to trust a specialist.

In contrast to the disadvantages, there are useful properties of the anti-theft agent, which will help protect the peace and sleep of its owner. If you have lost your Lada Grant password, you should not despair; it is enough to purchase a new one and re-learn your car.

It goes like this. The key is inserted into the ignition. If there is no sound signal on the buzzer and the indicator is flashing quickly, it is important to turn off the ignition in a timely manner and perform the training again. If, after repeated repetitions, it is still not possible to carry out detailed and complete training, then the problem is a malfunction or the training key is simply incompatible with the ECU.

How to disable the Lada Granta immobilizer

If the car has an alarm in addition to basic security, a conflict may arise between the anti-theft systems. In this case, you need to deactivate the immobilizer in the car.

To bypass this function on the Lada Granta, you need to create your own secret code. It will help unlock the engine if the key or other system components malfunction. It is important to remember that in order to carry out the shutdown procedure yourself, the code must be written immediately after activating the protection. To do this you need:

  • tightly close all doors in the cabin, including the hood and trunk;
  • insert the training key into the ignition, start and stop the engine;
  • rapid flashing of the diode indicates the start of the procedure;
  • in 6 seconds you need to remove the training key and insert a valid key, activate the ignition;
  • a three-time beep will confirm the correctness of the action;
  • wait for 2 more signals and turn off the engine;
  • within 6 seconds the working key is removed, the training key is placed again and the engine is started;
  • wait for 3 and then 2 more signals;
  • turn off the engine and wait for 1 more signal (after this the LED should blink even faster);
  • the ignition is reactivated with the red key, the Check Engine light should go out within 1 minute;
  • then enter a six-digit password by pressing the accelerator pedal as many times as there should be in the code number;
  • between the numbers, the pedal is held for at least 5 seconds until the CE light goes out;
  • After recording all the numbers, the ignition is turned off.

To enter the code, the engine is started, nothing is pressed until the CE lamp stops lighting. The code is then entered by pressing the accelerator pedal as described above.

In this way, the immobilizer on the Grant is turned off until the next engine start. If more than 5 seconds have passed between turning off the engine and starting again, you will have to repeat the code entry.

Immobilization bypass procedure for Lada Granta cars

Question: How to deactivate the immobilizer, if necessary? That is, is it possible to activate or deactivate as needed?

Answer: Yes. You need to register your secret code in the ECM, and if suddenly a problem with key identification suddenly arises, you can use the service mode and start the car using the code (which was previously entered into the ECM memory).

Immobilization bypass procedure for Lada Granta cars

This procedure is used to start the engine without reading the code key in the event of a malfunction of the immobilizer. The algorithm for performing immobilization bypass is recorded in the non-volatile memory of the engine control system controller (ECSC). You can use the immobilization bypass procedure only after recording an individual numeric code (password) in the ICS. The car owner can change the password an unlimited number of times by entering the numeric code into the ICS. Initially, the KSUD is supplied with no programmed password, i.e. bypass procedure is prohibited.

1 Entering a numeric code into the KSUD

1.1 Prepare a set of ignition keys consisting of a working key (with a completely black head) and a training key (with a red insert).
1.2 Close all car doors. Insert the learning code key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition on and off. The system status indicator (LED) should flash quickly. 1.3 Until the LED blinking stops (within 6 s), remove the training key from the ignition switch, insert the working key and turn on the ignition. The buzzer on the anti-theft control unit should emit three beeps. 1.4 Wait with the ignition on until the buzzer emits two more sound signals, then turn off the ignition. 1.5 Until the LED blinking stops (within 6 s), remove the working key from the ignition switch, insert the learning key and turn on the ignition. 1.6 The buzzer should emit three beeps. Wait with the ignition on until the buzzer emits two more sound signals. 1.7 Turn off the ignition without removing the training key, wait until the buzzer gives a single sound signal. The LED should blink twice as fast. 1.8 Turn on the ignition with the training key while the LED is flashing. The “Check Engine” (CE) light should be on. 1.9 Wait 1 minute until the CE goes out. 1.10 Enter a six-digit code number consisting of numbers from 1 to 9 (the minimum possible number is 111111, the maximum possible is 999999). 1.10.1 Entering a code number: press the accelerator pedal all the way, hold the pedal pressed for no more than 3 seconds. The number of presses on the accelerator corresponds to the entered number. The CE lamp lights up to confirm each press. 1.10.2 Recording a code number: press the accelerator pedal and hold it down until the CE lamp goes out (? 5 seconds). Release the accelerator pedal. * 1.10.3 Enter the remaining five digits of the code following the steps in paragraphs. 1.10.1, 1.10.2 5 more times in a row. 1.10.4 If, after entering the last digit of the code and holding the accelerator pedal pressed for more than 5 seconds, the CE lamp: – does not go out, then the password entry has been completed correctly; – starts blinking at a frequency of 1 Hz, which means an error occurred when entering the password. You need to turn off the ignition and repeat the procedure again from step 1.2. Attention!
If, after entering the code number and holding the accelerator pedal down for more than 5 seconds, the CE lamp begins to flash at a frequency of 1 Hz, it means that an error occurred when entering the number (for example, you pressed the accelerator more than 9 times or exceeded the waiting time (1 minute) even once without pressing the accelerator). You need to turn off the ignition and repeat the procedure again from step 1.2. 1.11 Exit from the password recording mode in the ICS occurs when the ignition is turned off. If entering the password is not completed completely, it is not saved. 1.12 The immobilization bypass procedure is prohibited if, after performing steps 1.2...1.9, you press the accelerator pedal and hold it pressed for more than 5 seconds. If the immobilization bypass procedure is prohibited, the CE lamp will remain on continuously with the ignition on all the time until the engine starts.

2 Perform a walkthrough

2.1 Turn on the ignition. The control system prohibits the engine from starting (the immobilization function is enabled). CE is constantly on. 2.2 Wait 1 minute until the CE goes out. If this does not happen, then the procedure for bypassing immobilization in the CSUD is prohibited. 2.3 Enter your password code in accordance with clause 1.10 (see above). 2.4 If, after entering the last digit of the code and holding the accelerator pedal pressed for more than 5 seconds, the CE lamp: – does not go out, it means the code was entered correctly, you can start the engine. – starts flashing with a frequency of 1 Hz, which means the wrong password has been entered, the bypass procedure must be repeated, turning off the ignition, starting from paragraph 2.2 2.5 If the bypass is performed correctly and the engine has started, the CE lamp goes out after the engine starts. 2.6 The CSUD operates in the immobilization bypass mode until it is completely turned off, which occurs 5 seconds after the ignition is turned off. The engine can be restarted if no more than 5 seconds have passed since the ignition was turned off. If more than 5 seconds have passed since the ignition was turned off, then starting the engine becomes impossible and the bypass procedure must be repeated again.

Reasons why the standard immobilizer is not activated

  • Just lazy.
  • Some people demand money for it and don’t want to do it for free.
  • Other dealers do not want to activate it, because then, when installing an alarm system with auto start, they will have to perform the “immobilizer bypass” procedure, which brings additional difficulties.
  • Some argue that this operation may cause problems with starting the car. A strong argument here is that dealers claim that after activating the immobilizer, the Lada Granta can stall at any time. Then we can suggest not to lock the doors yet, they may not open at any time.

Please note that in the list of pre-sale work there is an item on the basis of which the car's immobilizer must be activated, regardless of what engine (more about engines here) and what equipment.

How to replace batteries in the remote control.

The remote control contains elements of the CR2032 type; to remove them, you must press any button to open the contents of the compartment. It is important that at this time the special indicator on the remote control lights up, but if it does not light up or turns on and off, then this indicates a problem with the batteries. Now we arm ourselves with a Phillips screwdriver with a small blade, which will help connect the housings on the remote control. Next, we pick up the remote control for the Lada Grant and begin to carefully separate the body into parts to see its filling.

After this, you should remove the damaged battery and install a new one, paying attention to the polarity so that the immobilizer can work correctly. After this, it is necessary to remove parts of the remote control housing until the latches snap into place and are completely closed.

How to find out if the immobilizer is activated?

This should not be confused with the “check engine” icon, which also lights up when you turn the ignition key. This icon does not go out until you start the engine. Learn more about why your check engine light may come on here.

If this icon is lit, it means the immobilizer is not activated.

If, when starting the car, the “car with key” icon lights up and goes out after a while, then the immobilizer is disabled! This is a direct threat to the safety of your car.

Instructions for activating the immobilizer

  • Close all doors by pressing the button (door lock button).
  • Turn on the ignition with the RED key and wait 9-10 seconds.
  • Pull out the key . The “car with key” icon should blink 5 times per second.
  • Quickly (within 5-6 seconds) turn on the ignition BLACK. There will be 3 beeps + 2 beeps.
  • Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
  • Quickly (within 5-6 seconds) while the “car with key” is blinking, turn on the RED ignition. There will be 3 beeps + 2 beeps.
  • Turn off the ignition. 1 beep will sound.
  • Quickly (within 5-6 seconds) turn on the ignition for 2-3 SECONDS !
  • Turn off the ignition . THE KEY IS IN THE LOCK. 3 beeps will sound + the “car with key” icon goes out. We do not remove the key.
  • Remove the key.

To check the operation of the immobilizer, simply start the car and see if the “car with key” icon lights up. If it is not lit, then the immobilizer is activated!

You can also remove the tag from the key and try to start the car. The immobilizer should not allow the car to start.

It may seem complicated at first glance, but in reality everything is simple. I got it right the first time. The video below shows my activation process.

If the engine does not start even with the tag, then there may be problems with the immobilizer itself or there are problems with the engine control system.

Video instruction

Especially for our portal, I made a video in which I activate the immobilizer on my Grant. Thank you, don't thank me!

A detailed algorithm for reconfiguring the immobilizer

First of all, you need to close all the interior doors, insert the so-called “red” training key, and turn on the engine ignition. If the light is constantly on, it means training is required. Next, you need to turn off the ignition and wait for the immobilizer to blink. Remove the “red” key and immediately insert the regular key, turn on the ignition as usual. At the same time, you will first hear three consecutive short beeps, and after a short time you will hear a couple more. Then turn off the ignition again and re-enter the first training key: three should sound the same, and then the same two short beeps. Turn off the ignition and do not remove the learning key. After this, a short beep will sound and the indicator will flash quickly and rapidly. Turn the ignition on again and then immediately turn it off, after which 3 beeps will sound and the indicator will go out completely. Now you can remove the first “red” training key and use the regular one to test start the engine. So, the immobilizer on Lada Granta works.

It's no secret that Grant's cars are equipped with an additional protection system - an immobilizer, but almost no one has activated it. This protection system should be activated at the dealership during pre-sales, but many dealerships are simply too lazy to activate it, citing faults, etc. After several months of driving, I discovered that the car has an immobilizer for my Grant, but it is not activated. I wanted to go to the dealer and get it fixed, but somehow got lazy. As a result, I found information on the Internet about activating the Lada Grants immobilizer and shared it with all my readers!

How to determine whether the immobilizer on a Grant is activated?

everything is very simple: insert the key into the ignition and start the car, if the icon in the form of a car on the instrument panel (see Figure under number 6) lights up for 15 seconds and goes out, then the immobilizer is NOT activated!

So, if your immobilizer is not activated, below are the instructions to activate it:

• Get into the car and close all doors. • Insert the contact with the RED key (spare key with red mark) and wait 9-10 seconds. • Remove the key. The car icon should flash 5 times per second. • Quickly turn on (within 5-6 seconds) the BLACK ignition (daily key with black mark. • 3 beeps + 2 beeps will sound. • Turn off the ignition and remove the key. • Quickly (within 5-6 seconds) while the car is flashing, turn on the RED ignition • 3 beeps + 2 squeaks will sound • There will be 1 squeak • Quickly (within 5-6 seconds) turn on the ignition for 2-3 SECONDS! • Turn off the ignition LOCK KEY • 3 beeps will sound + the car icon will go out. Do not remove the key.(With some controllers, the light stops flashing and the buzzer beeps 3 times when the power is turned on. In this case, you still need to turn off the ignition and wait at least 10 seconds) • wait at least 10 seconds. • Remove key. • Check the activation of the immobilizer. Turn on the ignition with any key, if when you turn on the ignition the car does not turn on on the instrument panel, the immobilizer is activated.

An immobilizer is an electronic anti-theft system that blocks certain vehicle control modules when intruders enter the vehicle. Such protection is a mandatory attribute of most modern middle and high-class cars. Despite belonging to the economy class, the Lada Granta immobilizer is also included in the standard factory equipment.

Concept of a locking system

An immobilizer is a special type of device, the main function of which is to block unauthorized activation. In other words, such a system will protect against theft of a vehicle, namely the Lada Grant. There is a small chip in the ignition key; once you activate it, a code is sent to identify the owner and the engine starts. The control program is designed so that the vehicle’s protection is activated once, that is, it is not possible to return everything back.

It should be noted that the immobilizer is a device that is able to identify its own lock, as well as control the supply of fuel, steering, engine power, and gearbox shifts. It quickly triggers and instantly “locks” the vehicle from an ill-wisher if the set parameters do not correspond to the specified ones at all (mostly we are talking about a password, but many car models can only respond to the fingerprints of the owner).

When purchasing a travel assistant, an employee in the cabin with the owner activates the immobilizer. If the owner does not want to connect it, then this is written down in the service book in case of disagreements and unforeseen situations on the part of the buyer.

If in a year he wants to turn it on, he will have to carry out a certain algorithm of actions. The owner will have two devices to open the car, one is black and the other is painted scarlet. The first one is necessary in order to turn on the ignition in the Lada Granta, the red one helps with entering the primary one, it must be hidden in a safe place so as not to be accidentally lost and taken only in case of emergency. If the red key is lost, the vehicle warranty received from the car dealership becomes invalid.

Equipment

The Lada Granta is equipped with two keys, the black one is considered the main and working one. In addition, it may also have a special remote control, which helps to remove the start ban. It is necessary to power the vehicle.

Red acts as a trainer. Its main functions are to operate the vehicle, as well as the training mode of the protection and door locking system.

Is it possible to do without an immobilizer?

There is an opinion that such a device is buggy in most cases, but this is hard to believe, since they almost never break down, unless, of course, they were installed by an experienced specialist. Remember that with its help you can protect your car from theft, although you should not be 100% sure of such security, since risks still exist.

Anti-theft protection operates in 2 modes:

  • The function is active. In this mode, starting the engine is possible only with a valid key. If you try to start the engine in another way, the ECU is blocked.

Alarm compatibility and immobilizer problems

Often, Lada Granta car owners want to create an entire anti-theft system on their car or simply be able to use additional alarm options for maximum comfort. One of the most popular alarm functions is automatic engine start. But what to do if the immobilizer does not allow you to start the engine without the key in the ignition?

You can leave it inside or go to the other side and create an immobilizer bypass lock. Of course, the immobilizer bypass must be in the car and contain a decoder chip; one of the keys or their chip must always be in the car. Experts recommend creating a specific additional key for autorun.

Bypass blocking is activated only during an autostart attempt. If you plan to start driving without a master key in the ignition switch, the engine will be locked. It should be remembered that the use of a remote-controlled alarm system significantly increases the cost of CASCO insurance.

Everyone has long known that technology is imperfect; even the latest electronics developments can fail. You can often see drivers on the highway with hazard lights and squealing - the car has stalled, the immobilizer has failed and is preventing the engine from starting.

One of the most significant disadvantages of electronic alarm systems is the complete blocking of all vehicle systems for no apparent reason or the loss of some functions. For example, power windows and an electronic control unit fail. After several unsuccessful attempts to activate the controller, the car stops responding to the keys.

The easiest way to solve such problems is to disable the immobilizer. This is doable, although you may find that the controller is activated once and for all. Disabling the “immobilizer” is only possible if you have a red key with a code. There are software ways to disable it, but you should not use them yourself, as they require special skills, knowledge and technical support.

In any case, the disadvantages of an electronic anti-theft device are offset by its usefulness. Security is not something that can be overlooked, and if the regular Lada Granta immobilizer is not suitable for drivers for any reason, you can always find alternative options.

Car: Lada Granta. Asked by: Dmitry M.

I recently bought a Granta in the complete Norma package. The immobilizer is activated, i.e. the indicator does not light up when starting (basic instructions, pages 10-11). I already found on the Internet how it was activated. I think I could do it myself. Also, what should I do if I want to turn it off? I heard that there is such a sequence, but they only know about it on the service.

Activation rules

Before this process, it is important to close the car doors and remove the keys from the ignition and wait six seconds. If nothing is forgotten and all actions are performed in a synchronized sequence, you can pay attention to how the red light starts and lights up, the immobilizer indicates the correctness of the actions. After this, the owner has no more than seven seconds to remove this key and replace it with a black one in the ignition. It is important that sound signals are emitted during this process. If this is not observed, the entire procedure must be started again.

  • close the hood, trunk and all doors in the car;
  • insert the training key (with a red mark) into the ignition and turn it until the ignition is activated;
  • wait 6 seconds until the light on the instrument panel starts flashing;
  • within 6 seconds, remove the training key and insert the working key, start the engine with it.

If everything is done correctly and on time, then this will be followed by 3 signals, and then 2 more. If there is no sound, the operation should be repeated again.

Anti-theft and signaling device

Many car enthusiasts, in particular Lada Granta owners, at the same time plan to make their vehicle universal, which means they plan to connect an alarm system in addition to the immobilizer, but won’t this lead to problems? It should be borne in mind that thanks to the latter, the engine starts automatically. What to do if the immobilizer does not allow you to turn on the engine without using the appropriate key?

There are several basic options, for example, do not remove it and let it be there permanently. But be that as it may, it is important that the immobilizer and the crawler in it are located in the car and have a special decoding chip. Many people recommend making a duplicate key so that it is always nearby.

The bypass block comes into effect when the transport starts. In the event that the vehicle is activated without a key, the engine is blocked. We must not forget that the simultaneous use of alarm and control significantly increases the price of CASCO insurance.

It is a well-known fact that equipment sometimes malfunctions at certain and most inopportune moments, and most new products break down, and the Lada Granta is no exception. For example, on the highway you can meet unfortunate drivers who find themselves in an unpleasant situation: the car does not start because the protection is blocked and there is no help for them, especially if they are far from the city limits.
