Application area
Like any other motor oil, Lukoil Super is intended for internal combustion engines all year round. Its versatility allows it to be used in engines running on gasoline, diesel fuel or gas. In addition, it does not matter to him what type of engine: naturally aspirated, turbocharged, particulate filters, low-speed and others.
Allows use in cars of the following classes: passenger car, SUV, minivan, bus, truck, commercial or special (forklift, tractor, crane) transport.
Of course, all Lukoil products are primarily designed for domestic equipment. But modern technologies make it possible to use it in any units produced by well-known global manufacturers.
Copes well with heavy engine work. As a rule, this is due to high loads and strong temperature changes (Conditions of the Far North). Indispensable for off-road use, as well as for high power applications.
Suitable for mixed use of the car: country trips, fishing or hunting. Driving around the city is the most destructive mode for the engine. How to track the oil level when changing
You can use the measurement as a guide when changing the oil. This is found in any VAZ engine and is located to the left of the engine itself (on the driver’s side). There are markers on the gauge that track both the normal level and how much oil is currently in the crankcase. In principle, topping up without a complete replacement is allowed, but only if normal compression is maintained during vehicle operation and if the hydraulics do not “knock.”
The average oil consumption per 1000 km of 50 ml only applies to the time when the engine is practically new or the car has been driven very little.
If the car is more than 10 years old, then the consumption increases almost 1.5 times. If you do not replace the filter in a timely manner, a large amount of gasoline combustion products, as well as metal shavings and soot, enter the oil. In this case, it will have to be replaced almost every 5-10 thousand kilometers (the standard resource is every 40-60 thousand).
If the car's engine is in good condition, then approximately 3.5 liters will not be enough. You should not focus on the neck (until it is filled). Here the principle “you can’t spoil porridge with butter” does not work, but only harms. If the permissible level is exceeded, normal compression and oil circulation in the system is disrupted, which accelerates wear of parts and negatively affects hydraulics and the camshaft.

Engine tuning 21124
There is no point in considering chip tuning of a 124 engine, it will not make any noticeable changes on a standard car, the firmware is needed for more thorough and correct tuning, after the engine has been modified, we will start with it. The simplest and most standard way to increase the power of the 21124 engine is to replace the camshafts with Stolnikov 8.9 280 or Nuzhdin 8.85, install a 4-2-1 direct-flow exhaust, a receiver and a 54-56 mm damper, this will give us a total of more than 120 hp, and for more efficient operation of the motor, we replace the piston with a lightweight Prior one. This will further increase power and reduce fuel consumption. If these numbers are not enough, it is recommended to modify the cylinder head and install wide-phase shafts, which will give an output of 150+ hp.
Compressor for VAZ 21124 16V
As an alternative, and also to obtain similar power over the entire range, you need to install a compressor. It is possible to increase power without using a turbine up to 200+ hp, using a 4-throttle intake, but the most optimal options suitable for urban use are the methods described above.
4 throttle intake for VAZ 21124
To increase the stability of the engine and the response of the gas pedal, install 4 throttles. The bottom line is that each cylinder receives its own throttle valve and, thanks to this, resonant air vibrations between the cylinders disappear. We have more stable engine operation from bottom to top. The most popular method is to install a 4-throttle intake from Toyota Levin on a VAZ. You need to purchase: the unit itself, make an adapter manifold and pipes, in addition to this you need a nulevik filter, injectors, MAP (absolute pressure sensor), fuel pressure regulator and firmware. There are also ready-made 4-throttle intake kits on sale that are quite suitable for use. Considering the prohibitive speeds, it is recommended to replace the heavy piston 124 engine with a lightweight Priora one, wide-phase shafts (at least 280), a modified cylinder head, a 4-2-1 spider exhaust with 51 pipes or more. The disadvantages include a reduction in engine life, and this is not surprising, because the engines on the pipes spin at more than 8000-9000 or more rpm.
