Interior

The front seat service offers several adjustment units and lateral support elements. The rear sofa with three seats is quite spacious, but for tall riders a certain discomfort is created by the low ceiling.

The declared trunk volume of the Lada Vesta (sedan) 2021 model is 480 liters. To transport rangefinders, the design of the sofa backrest provides for the possibility of partial transformation.

Powertrains and transmission

Vehicle power unit Today, Lada Vesta is equipped with two four-cylinder 16-valve gasoline engines:

• the base 1.6-liter power unit has a capacity of 106 “horses”;
• a more powerful 122-horsepower engine of 1.8 liters in volume.

Vehicle performance depends on many factors, including the selected transmission.

In 2022, it will be possible to equip more powerful 122-horsepower engines with manual transmission. The new Lada Vesta will accelerate to hundreds in 10.2 seconds, and its top speed will increase to 188. Average fuel consumption in the combined cycle will be 7.5 liters per hundred kilometers.

New AvtoVAZ

The new Lada Vesta model in a “universal” body has long been discussed in media sources and on automotive Internet portals. Photos of the Lada Vesta in its new guise presented on websites have caused heated discussions among car enthusiasts. Photos of the interior are very similar to the current interior of the sedan. The similarity in size and appearance is largely due to the fact that the station wagon will be assembled at the same plant in Izhevsk where the sedan is currently being assembled.

The Lada Vesta, which recently entered mass production, has caused many disputes and discussions. The first independent tests and samples showed an excellent result compared to previous failures of AvtoVAZ - the car really exceeded the expectations of domestic consumers in most respects.

At the same time, the Lada Vesta in the “Comfort” configuration included a lot of components that are pleasant for the driver and very useful in practice. The cost of this average configuration, which is especially surprising, was only slightly higher than the price of the basic set of options, called “Classic”. What exactly the long-awaited Lada Vesta “Comfort”, which has glorified itself for its quality, included, will be interesting for every driver to know.

Chassis

Car wheels: 15-inch steel wheels covered with original hubcaps. The tires used are high-quality Pirelli model Cinturato P1, size 185x65 R15. The fact that the wheel is small is even a plus, since it is lighter and has a higher sidewall. Accordingly, there is more air in it, the car rides smoother. Although the suspension works great with 17 discs.

Main characteristics

The driving characteristics of the Lada Vesta “Comfort” are no different from the basic configuration. The “average” car is also equipped with a 1.6-liter VAZ engine with a rated power of 106 horsepower. The gearbox, however, was taken from French assemblers (the same was used on some Renault models). It is noteworthy that the manufacturer gave preference to the manual transmission - automatic transmission is not included in any equipment of the Lada Vesta car, and “Comfort” is no exception. However, even connoisseurs of automatic transmissions cannot help but recognize the advantages of the transmission used in the design: unlike previous AvtoVAZ developments, the Lada Vesta in the Comfort configuration does not make noise at high speeds and is much easier to drive.

Options for comfort

The equipment of the Lada Vesta sedan and those who value convenience more than driving characteristics are very pleased. The configuration of the Lada Vesta in a hatchback body will most likely be composed in a similar way (for now only a sedan is being produced - other types of bodies are still under development). The manufacturers really tried to make sure that the name of their virtuoso assembly really spoke.

Among the pleasant nuances that are not available in a cheaper assembly, it is worth noting the presence of heated front seats in addition to the standard air conditioning. Driving in winter will be more enjoyable for connoisseurs of the domestic automobile industry. Also, the equipment of the new Lada Vesta includes stability systems ABS and ESC - and they are also available in the basic version. Another really important difference between the average set of options and the basic one will be the presence of parking sensors: contrary to popular belief, this control element is useful not only for novice drivers.

I wonder what else is included in the Lada Vesta “Comfort” package? This is a full-fledged audio system that replaces the standard radio with the ability to play a variety of storage media - from disks to flash cards. There is also the option of connecting the audio system via Bluetooth to other devices (for example, a mobile phone).

However, the most joyful news for Russian drivers will be the variety of trim levels in their average value. The general director of AvtoVAZ said that at least seven more different sets of options can be added to the Lada Vesta Comfort (for example, Optima - additional equipment for heating the windshield and replacing the wheels with cast ones with a radius of 15 inches).

The appearance of the interior shown in the photo, of course, does not reach that of a luxury car. Nevertheless, everything is appropriate here, everything is really necessary and useful, and at the same time, nothing is superfluous. Considering the fairly low price that the buyer will have to pay for this neat and aesthetically attractive car, we can say with confidence that the purchase will be worth it.

Turn on air recirculation

To turn on air recirculation, press button 19, and the indicator light on the button will light up. When the recirculation mode is turned on, the supply of outside air is cut off, air is taken into the climate system from the passenger compartment (recirculated in the passenger compartment).

The recirculation mode can be used to prevent smoke, exhaust gases and polluted air from entering the cabin when driving through a tunnel or in a traffic jam. To speed up the heating or cooling of the interior after parking the car, you can turn on the recirculation mode for a short time; after reaching a comfortable temperature or when the windows fog up, you must turn on the supply of fresh air.

Prolonged use of the recirculation mode may cause the driver to become drowsy or drowsy and result in loss of control. Use recirculation mode only when necessary. It is recommended to preferentially use the supply air mode.

You cannot sleep in a car with recirculation mode on. This could result in serious injury or death due to reduced oxygen levels in the vehicle interior.

Prolonged use of the recirculation mode when the air conditioner is not working can lead to an increase in air humidity in the cabin, which can cause fogging or frosting of the windows and poor visibility.

To turn off the recirculation mode, press button 19 again, the indicator light will go out. Supply (outside) air will be supplied to the cabin.
