There are enthusiasts who install larger diameter tires on VAZ car models, naturally on larger rims. This does not lead to any positive consequences. Wider rubber, according to such experts, gives a larger contact patch, due to this, better grip and a shorter braking distance are achieved, but in fact, a larger contact patch means less pressure, and traction, on the contrary, decreases.

Should I take the spikes or not? On the one hand, studs hold the road better on ice and compacted snow, but on dry asphalt they are skis.
Moreover, inexpensive studs do not last long; I personally do not recommend buying studded tires with a price of at least 3,000 rubles, and this is already a rather expensive class of rubber.
