Mitsubishi Lancer 9 lamps: replacing high, low and side lights

In the Mitsubishi Lancer 9, as well as in the next generation of the model, T10 or W5W lamps are used for license plate illumination. At first glance, replacing license plate lamps may seem difficult, but in fact there is nothing difficult about it; with the help of our instructions, you can do it yourself in 15-20 minutes.

Replacing low beam lamps on Lancer Cedia

Hello everyone. Who changed the low beam lamp on a Lancer Cedia? Please explain how? I took off the plastic terminal, but then I didn’t understand, everything was rubberized and some kind of copper contact with two terminals, and what next?

you take off the rubber casing (pull harder towards yourself) then remove the iron latch and that’s it. good luck

The rubber casing pulls together easily. the spring that holds the terminal block with the lamp is wound by the sticks. With a carrier it will be immediately clear how to unhook it. Then you just take it out and that’s it. And further. Look at the contact on the terminal block. On H1, due to poor contact, the terminal block often gets hot and the plastic then becomes painted. It is treated by tightening the contact pads.

Thank you! I'll definitely try to change it tomorrow.

Thank you, I'll go change it tomorrow, I'll definitely pay attention to the terminal block.
