In fact, Heuschle explained that most of the statistics SRT cites in its releases are achieved with the car in automatic mode. “I want shifters to be completely unnecessary,” he said, explaining that manual shifting may not be the most efficient for such cars. “On the tracks where we test our products, this is an unnecessary feature.
